L0NE is the first in a series of reductionalist Zanstones releases. The zero replacing the O in the four letter titles designates thisshift toward less. Established in 1983, Zanstones first release "The Subltle Art of Puddle Pushing" from 1984 established the continuing concerns with
sound exploration. L0NE, created in the spring of 2009, is the 145th release by Zanstones which has been followed by H0NE, in late May. Zanstones is the longest-standing project on Zan Hoffman's 25 year old ZH27 label. Other busy and fascinating ZH27 projects include Bodycocktail, Zanoisect, Masters of the Ungentlemanly Art, Grandbrother, Here Be Monsters and Creamy Porn Stars. L0NE is the 1021st release on Zan's ZH27 label. Don't be shy, collect them all.
