Notes

Revised and remastered version of the band's 2005 compilation featuring additional track (I'll Stay With You) plus specifically corrected mixes so that the true 7" versions now feature. The original edition sported numerous inaccuracies in that regard. David Quantick's liner notes essay is dated as being from 2006. The booklet features a track-by-track retrospective including the various singles artwork, release dates, recording credits and phonographic/publishing information.

This latest reissue features a lighter grey font as opposed to the black lettering found on the original 2005 editions but comes in an almost identical twin-tray fold out plastic case. Some sealed copies feature a 'New Order' sticker on the cellophane reading: "Remastered and updated, includes Blue Monday, Regret, Krafty and now I'll Stay With You 0825646069637".

The key track differences between the 2005 and 2016 track listings are as follows:

· 'Confusion' is now the correct UK 7" promo edit (FAC 93) instead of an edit of the 12" Rough mix,
· 'The Perfect Kiss' is now the correct 7" edit (FAC 123) instead of the 'Low-life' album version,
· 'Bizarre Love Triangle' is now the correct 7" Shep Pettibone edit (FAC 163-7) instead of the 'Brotherhood' album version,
· 'True Faith' is now the correct 7" edit instead of the 12" version (FAC 183),
· 'Run 2' is now the the correct 7" Scott Litt edit (FAC 273/7) instead of the 'Technique' album version,
· 'Spooky' is now the correct Fluke 'Minimix' remix instead of the album version edit,
· 'Nineteen63' is now the correct Arthur Baker radio remix instead of an edit of the 'cleaned up' 1994 Stephen Hague mix,
· 'I'll Stay With You' is new and featured in (Lost Sirens) album version form despite not having been an actual single,

All other tracks are identical to their respective versions found on the original 2005 compilation but remastered. CD-Text on the discs indicate that the audio was remastered in 2015 I.e. (2015 Remastered Version) after each song title.

Durations not printed anywhere on the release and are taken from a computer read of the discs.

Reviews:
  • Cildorais
Still one mistake: in this 2016 corrected edition 'Nineteen63' is the correct 7" version by Arthur Baker, but placed in incorrect chronological order (between 'Spooky' and 'Crystal', as if it was released in 1994). The 2005 edition has the '94 Stephen Hague remix of 1963 but placed between 'True Faith' and TBTHOG, as if it was released in 1987.At least "Run 2" is finally available on CD (for the first time if I'm not wrong)
  • Hidden Winter
But 1963 *was* released between Spooky and Crystal, in 1995. The new version puts the song in the right place!
  • Zonama
Can anyone confirm a slight glitch (audible distortion) on CD 2, Track 7 "World (The Price Of Love)" at 00:18?
  • Hiylchis
Yes, I hear a slight glitch as well at 00:18.
  • Nuadador
It sounds like the vocal goes 'mono' at that point for a split second to me, yes.
  • Thundershaper
No glitch that I can hear at that point on the CD.
  • Maveri
Not a thing, looking at the wave-form of it, there's a peak around that point but it sounds fine to me. Anyone else?
