I generally despise resident advisor and everything that it stands for so it takes a lot for me for me come on here and talk about a mix with their name on it but goddam this mix is out of this world. The first 20 minutes is deep, slow, and so bass heavy that it rattles your noggin. Its still techno though. Then at some point the 4 to the floor comes along and its basically a train that's coming. You can get off the tracks or get run the fck over but its coming either way. I mean this is really something special considering theres no vocals, no trumpets, horns, clarinets, ethnic vocals or any of the other crap that's been trotted out in quote unquote "minimal" in the last 7 years. This is the real deal. Berlin should be proud. This sounds like Richie Hawtin, Donato Dozzy, and Mike Parker combined and all having a good day 5 years ago.
