Liner Notes:
"The 2009 Victorian bushfires have been the worst Australian fire disaster in history. Sam the koala and volunteer CFA firefighter David Tree have emerged as a worldwide story of hope from this terrible tragedy. Sam the koala suffered burns to her paws and was found bewildered near Mirboo North (about 150km southeast of Melbourne). Mark Pardew captured the incredible encounter on his mobile phone, an image that has made international headlines, as David stopped to give Sam the koala a drink. Sam has since been taken into a wildlife shelter and is hoped to make a full recovery, after which she will be released back into the bush."
