This is a cheap cash-in remake of Santa Esmeralda's second-biggest hit after "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood", sung by the group's first lead singer Leroy Gomez rather than Jimmy Goings who did it originally in 1979. Gomez who now owns the rights to the name does a spirited vocal but it doesn't really sound convincing as the mix sounds somewhat phony and occasionally off-key.
