Every Blue Note vinyl reissue I've bought in the last few months has had an issue (US pressings). This one has quite a few ticks, in particular on side 2. A cleaning may fix it though.

Somewhat noisy pressing. Mine has a bit of no-fill, especially on Little One, which is a quieter track. Luckily none of the noise lasts more than 4-5 revolutions of the record. And my copy is pretty flat, not even much of an inner warp. No edge warp at all.The jacket says this was made in Germany, which, when I saw that, was a relief, because I thought for sure it would be a United pressing. But then I heard the noise. Can anybody make a god damn decent-quality record these days? I shouldn't have to shell out $35+ for an "audiophile" pressing just to get a record that isn't defective.

Probably Hancock's greatest achievement. Not one to settle for any particular format or style, here he returns to a quintet, and produces some great modal jazz on this beautiful, cohesive, album. It delivers some very delicate, moments and is very accessible without being boring.
