This is a beautiful soundtrack to an astonishing videogame. Super Mario Galaxy was released in 2007 for the Nintendo Wii console, and is one of the most critically acclaimed videogames of all time. For the soundtrack, composers Koji Kondo and Mahito Yokota went full power to make this one of the best soundtracks you will ever hear on a videogame. From nostalgic rehashes of classic tunes from Super Mario Bros 3. and Super Mario 64 to amazing full-blown cinematic original tunes such as the music to Good Egg Galaxy and Gusty Garden Galaxy to the very dramatic boss battle music for Bowser's stages, there is something for everyone who loves videogame music. I am very honored to own a copy of this, as Konjo and the like have put a lot of hard work into making the experience of playing Super Mario Galaxy very cinematic and exciting, thanks to their amazing work on the soundtrack.
