While the Remix EP was far more popular and an essential purchase the original still remains essential listening. Mike made his first EP sampling Colin's show on Kiss FM (mono as so far from the transmitter) in to an Atari ST and out of a home made audio breakout box, hence the 8 BIT sound and super crushed dynamic combined with radical panning of mono sounds as essentially mixed in the Atari. While his later productions benefited from Roland TR808 Drum Machine and a TB303, higher sound quality in general and ultimately a different style post Rabbit City 007, the raw excitement of the time is captured by this record.Played everywhere at the time and still exiting for the Hardcore Techno lover. Recommended.

My least favorite of the early Rabbit City / Force Mass Motion releases (up through #7...the rest I don't even care about). This one really has that messy, dense 8-bit sound and lacks the hooks of the later FMM records.
