Reviews:
  • Kirinaya
I just brought up a little bit of sick in my mouth
  • Oparae
"les goûts et les couleurs" as we say in french... To me it's not half bad, I didn't know of the sampled tracks before and yet it still doesn't change my mind. It's not a complete rip off made to be sold on beatport, why not consider it as a (pretty good) bootleg ? It's an updated version of UK garage classics, maybe it will be forgotten and outdated in a few years, maybe not, but I "Just Don't Understand" the hate here.
  • Weiehan
Jesus wept..... this is candidate for the worst track I've heard in my lifetime. In 2018. On vinyl.Every copy should end up in landfill. Total abomination.
  • Arcanefire
This made me laugh at my desk.... I love the comment below from man like Tristan.
  • Mr.Bean
Totaly respectful of Todd Edwards and the UKG scene, love it
  • Uriel
Disrespectful to the UKG scene, disrespectful to Todd Edwards, disrespectful to Somore Whoever produced this cannot call themselves a producer, it was made on a two channel mixer and its out of key !Absolute waste man moves
  • Bluddefender
unimaginative* . . . . . . . . .
  • Mezilabar
As a rather ageing house veteran I could name a swathe of 'classic' tracks which have sampled in an imaginative way. Same goes for hip hop. I do not need an opportunity to learn about the above tunes as I own them both. Cheers
  • Fast Lovebird
It's not the sampling in itself thats disrespectful, it's the creativity (or lack of in this case) of how the samples are being used. DJ Shadow created an album entirely of samples and it was beautifully done and considered one of the most innovative records in Electronic music - this is, simply, someone taking a 4 bar loop from two tunes and fading them in and out on top of a drum loop for about 7 minutes - big difference.I echo everyone else's sentiments - the record is absolute horse poop. Use this as an opportunity to learn about and listen to the original tunes instead (which are Somore - I Refuse (Sunshine Remix) & Todd Edwards - Shut the Door).
  • Reighbyra
How is sampling a record disrespectful? . . . .
  • Yellow Judge
Let's throw two UKG classics together and hope that it sounds alright. Oh shit, major key clash. Ah who cares, let's press it on vinyl anyway, it's not like people will notice as long as they're told it's a BANGER!Proper crap.
  • Foginn
I "Just Don't Understand" how this garbage can make it onto vinyl. It's not even in key!
  • Windworker
This is poor, whatever it is. add on top the god awful tech house beat and you get this steaming dog turd
