DownHill's debut is a fascinating sonic marvel. It's definitely electronica, and I guess you could call it downtempo when comparing the music to the members main group, The Delta. But this music has tremendous power and heft. The songs are mid tempo stompers with bone crushing bass, orchestral programming, swirling, soaring guitar-ish sounds, ultra crisp drumming, whispered, and seductive menacing vocals vs an angelic choir. "Silent City" was released in 2003 so I hope there's more to come. This is definitely a keeper, absolutely brilliant.

Perhaps the best chill out album I've ever heard. No cheesy melodies or used Indian vocals, just unique experimental sound with a dark edge. The first track "Three Years Drought" is one of the best songs I know.

Downhill is the side-project of the former band The Delta, this was specially intended to make a new direction on their music, instead of hard kicking tech sounds, they make fresh downbeat music, proving that they can produce a sonic sensation, listenable shocking and groundbreaking pushing edge chill out with its modern digital effects and a real emotional feeling inside, we must feel very proud for this release as it's out of stock in every shop.
