Common consensus is that these were a Japanese 90s band. But quite how it came to be released in Canada is unknown. Apart from it obviously sounding too modern to be a 1974 release, one can tell they sampled the Mellotron (maybe with a Mirage, Emulator or Akai) and the singer's accent is not Italian. There are also other clues like the surnames Ucchi and Sassada do not exist in Italian, etc. However, listening to it again now, apart from the obvious attempts at trying to sound Italian, I'm more often reminded of American bands like Lift, Episode, Happy The Man et.al, except none of those had such wonky vocalists. Maybe the Japanese myth is a blind in an attempt to market the Tachika release as something genuine? If they were in fact an American band recording incognito, that at least would explain the LP cover being printed in Canada.

Authentic Italian prog from the 1970s? Late '80s (or perhaps '90s) German or Japanese fake doing everything to sound like an Italian prog band? Although I've heard comparisons to Kermit the Frog in one of the vocalists (and they were correct), and it does sound like a band who doesn't have a full grasp of the Italian language (and some of the organ heard here sounds digital rather than a traditional Hammond organ), it sounds like they do a rather good job at recreating the Italian prog sound. It has all the elements of that classic Italian prog sound, from the organ, the '70s vibe, and even Mellotron (although the Mellotron almost sounds suspiciously sampled, but that would probably be impossible given even the EMu Vintage Keys hadn't seen the light of day). So far no one had fessed up about what this is all about. Regardless, if you like Italian prog, be sure to track this one down, regardless if its authentic or not.

You're right "Dalla Mattina Al Pomeriggio" is correct, I thought "Dalla" was a non-existent word in Italian, given how many times I've seen the word "Della" and "Delle" in Italian. I copied that phrase into Google Translate and it didn't correct me by saying: "Do you mean [insert proper spelling or grammar]". I don't speak Italian, though, but can recognize the language and some of the words.

As far as I know that's a Japanese Band from Osaka. Another support version is a mini LP-CD verison by Tachica (unoff.), dated 2008. NB. There's no mispelling in "Dalla Mattina Al Pomeriggio", that's correct in italian.
