Notes

Although a bootleg release of rare Orb tracks, it has been widely available in the shops. It's credited on an Orb fan site, Back Side Of The Moon, as: "Recorded in Europe in 1992, but the cd wasn't released until 1994; made in Italy." Released in a standard jewel case. The tracklisting on the CD cover gives some extra trivia about the tracks:
(The Kiss EP) The Orb's first. Promo only 12" release (1000 copies) August '89.
Featuring samples from Miss Ripperton's "Loving You" given the Orbital treatment.
Taken from the American only CD of 'Little Fluffy Clouds'. Rare Mixes, with additional production by Coldcut.
Previously available on 'Orb In Dub' 12" only. This being the most sort-after version.
The best version, culled from the 12" only 'Orb In Dub' with additional production by Mr. Andrew Weatherall.
Featuring the sub-sonic bass of Mr Jah Wobble. "Life's a beach and I'm on it"...
Released under the "Apollo XI" Monicker A.K.A. The Orb. "That heavy liquid will be the death of us". Dr. Wiseman.
A complete reworking of the excellent track given the Coldcut treatment.
1st official Orb release. In all its 19 min 7 secs glory!!! Produced with Mr Jimmy (KLF) Cauty. The big chill...

Reviews:
  • Malahelm
An excellent tracklist.
  • Nuadazius
An excellent tracklist With groovy moments and more psychédélic one. I recommend this album to those who are not fond of thé orb but more in uk dance atmosphère.

Thanks to some cornhead roommates I had at one point I no longer have this release which was one of the first in a series of "bootleg" orb releases that came out that year. I heard something about it being the Orb doing the releases themselves, don't really know tho. The Coldcut mixes and the Kiss your Love make this release worth owning other than that.
