Was there a reissue of the black sleeve without the band address? I've got a black sleeve version, no address with insert and reissue style labels.Also, did the black sleeve with address come with the insert or was it only the no address version that came with the insert?

Anyone got any info on the sleeve/label/insert combinations. I've got the blue sleeve with yellow labels and orangey insert and the yellow sleeve with reissue labels and blue insert.

Ok, added the 12" white label to discogs. Have given it a release year as 1986 because that is what Record Collector has it as but not certain that this is correct, my instinct would have been to put it as 1984. Should probably also add it to the Upside Down master release but it looks so good just on its own that I have delayed doing so. Will also try and add some better pictures including close up of cat. no. on run-out in due course

I've got one of these, bought way back from the Rough Trade shop in Notting Hill (before it was trendy..).I'm looking to sell a few things at the moment, any idea how much to ask for a mint CRE012(T) 12"?

I've actually got two copies of the 12" test press - The demo version of Upside Down is the same as the Poppy Seeds demo cassette version (I think this has turned up on youtube) There were rumoured to be 100 copies pressed, but I can't verify this. Both of my copies came directly via Alan McGee. Not sure what it's worth now - it used to hover just under 100 quid, but that might have changed due to all the renewed interest with the reissues, etc.

The VERY first copies had the black sleeve with red writing. They didn't include an order form for a t shirt and they did have a contact address for the band printed on the back of the sleeve.The coloured sleeves re-presses came a little later when the band were becoming popular. The t-shirt insert was included and the band's address was omitted from the sleeves. If there were any black sleeve re-presses, I don't know whether or not they still showed the band's address.
