"show your feeling" is sampling Earth, Wind & Fire sax solo by https://www.discogs.com/artist/253975-Don-Myrick inbetween After The Love Has Gone + let your feeling show! (1979) https://www.discogs.com/Earth-Wind-Fire-I-Am/release/205846 - i wish we lived in a world where all artists paid their dues by paying respect to those whom they sampled who truly deserve credit.. thank you Don Myrick!

Imho the tribute is already existent within the fact that he as a producer chose to use that specific cut played by the guy. Fact is that the sample is just a mere 3 second scale loop which on its own is not exactly noteworthy and it could've been played by anybody with proficiency in playing the sax. So that in itself is not exactly noteworthy. Otherwise any guy who had written a book in their life for example would have to reference and pay tribute for something as mundane as using the phrase "Once upon a time" or whatever as an analogy.I'm not saying that giving credit isn't needed but, I would reserve such recognition for cases when the artist has sampled something longer and more substantially than a couple second hook.

Gene Farris is often better as a DJ than a producer. But this Slickster EP on 83 West is a highlight of his career. A1 Heavenly Chorus features a gospel choir sample over a jackin Chicago funk kick. B1 Show Your Feeling has disco-infused alto sax sample loop. Both of these tunes tear up the dance-floor.
