Melodious Myles & Bo - Odyssey Love flac mp3 download

I think this has been repressed again, Jan 2014 - can someone confirm? A side sounds great (and what a tune!), B side not as clear but still very enjoyable.

It was just made available again by Myles, he is distributing small quantities here and there

I have both versions: the bootleg/repressed version and the original one. There is a clear difference in sound quality, especially in the lows. If you're planning to play this one out, the original is defo a must have. As a record to play at home, the repress is ok.

Remastered from the original vinyl but with a quality which will satisfy (considering how rare this is) all but the most fastidious of collectors. Here we all have a chance to own this impossible to find, and impossibly rare, piece of Chicago House history. With echos of Fingers Inc.'s 'Mystery Of Love' it's clear that Victor Houston (Melodious Myles) also shares Larry Heard's keyboard sensibilities and sense of musicality. There is a slight lessening in the sound quality for the reverse of this 12" and some hiss and crackles are evident but not over powering. The Remix version cleverly incorporates a Jamie Principle 'Your Love' style keyboard riff, but following a similar path to the main mix. 'Evol Yessydo' is another matter altogether. As the title suggests this is 'Odyssey Love' played backwards. A popular 'trick' in the clubs before we had a reverse button on our turntables, and perhaps a trick made most famous by Ron Hardy back in the early days of House.

I bought and listened to this release, very nice.
