There's something quiet contemporary in the albums sound, more serious in approach, a feeling as if a Si-Fi short story is being told by each track that was written as a reminder of a thought or memory about a secret urban metropolis city that once existed, but no longer does! At approx 42mins the album takes on a desolate lonely journey evoking the listener into gritty downtempo dubstep beats, elements of Idm/minimal techno, moments of BoC guitar like electronica plus a decaying ambient atmosphere delivering dense and cold moods that tease with touches of warmth across the album. The techno/Idm are more like moments rather then full featured tracks, esp when compared to SW's previous albums, but still manage to bring that fluid and sublime tech sound when used. This is a interesting and quiet a different album that may upset those wanting more tech-house & techno usually associated with SW, but do approach this with a open mind and you could get absorbed into its new-wave electronica story telling music. 7.5/10
