According to Sector-1.com (the main shop for this label and Sys-X), this release is very rare, because Afrika Bambaataa, who wrote the original lyrics (and the vocals), stepped in and stopped the pressing of additional copies, and stopped the track from appearing on more mix-CD's and compilations. This makes it a rare and sought out record. Since the demand was still great for this track, Cardiac Music decided to approach Bambaataa again. This time, they were allowed to use the 'Punani' lyrics, although with a different vocalist. That's why the "original version" on the 2006 version of 'Punani' sounds different, when it comes to the vocals.

It is allowed to copy a songtekst or any vorm of a tune as long as it's not the same voice or tune. So Cardiac did not have to approach Afrika Bambaataa. For the 2006 version the vocals have been done by Sietse van Daalen aka MC Mouth Of Madness.
