The 'poem' on the sleeve back is unique to this UK issue. The independently-created libretto by Zappa (due to veto by the record company) held up release of this work. Within it, Zappa indicates that the recording was prior to Thanksgiving in Nov '66 (25 hours), with editing & remixing at MGM Studios NYC. This libretto also contained the lyrics - a version of which was reproduced for Zappa in the UK's "The International Times" (Aug/Sep 1967).
