This is one of the first ambient albums that i bought and along with "I Care..." by Aphex Twin, the one which in a retrospect pushed me to investigate experimental/ambient genre, as opposed to more mainstream stuff. Essentially, there are two sides to this album - abstract and emotional one. "Drunk As A Monk" sounds like a cut ommited from "The Dark Side Of The Moon" but without any vocals, only chanting. It ain't no wonder, though, since the guy who is playing the saxophone on this track was also on "DSOTM". Overall, this is not the kind of album that you should listen to while washing dishes or as a general background noise, but rather something that requires a special atmosphere and some focus on the music. Not an essential, but an intriguing album nonethless.

It's not on Drunk as a monk but on Celestine.
