Video about Ralph Fridge - Paradise / Promise Me Heaven

The first record i ever bought and i still love it!! A favourite for Mark Eg & M-Zone fans, i first heard M-Zone play the nu-gray mix in his back2back set with Mark at Helter Skelter "Timeless" 1998. The track has the typical Ralph fridge angelic aarrrhhhh choir sample in the breakdown (listen to fridges - angel or komakino - outface and youll see that this is a sample often used by Ralph). The sample precedes the female vocal "back in paradise" until the main bassline/ riff flies in until the 2nd breakdown where the vocal is played again and the choir sound is layered over the bassline. Mark Eg preferred to play the slipstream mix (sadly not featured on the additive release) and opened up many sets with this, the angelic choir sample is used at the start in this remix. Both remixes are good, im slightly in favour of the nu gray one myself, promise me heaven has a similar choir sample in to paradise but is not as strong a production. The push remix is more for the gatecrasher/ibiza trancers its typical Dirk Derickx bonzai style, one of the best additive releases this one.
