No reviews...no way...This whole EP emphasis how Anthony was a very spiritual person in his work, this was my first encounter to him and it was around 1997 even though the record was actually released in 1995.Obviously "The House Of God" song is a standout here as it was pretty innovative back in those days to use arabic and exotic lyrics or vocals over dance music. the track start with an iranian prayer about "monotheism" - god is one, he needs no one, there are no multiple gods, he doesnt need anyone else, he laughs at those who laugh at him, he was in the beginning and will be there in the end, he is honest he never lies. After a few bars the song spins into this beautiful collage between a kick and a soft drum snare followed by different colors of melodies that run octaves in parallel with Anthony's vocals moniker called "The Trojan Horse"..."For hear we the house of god , for hear we the house of god, for hear we the house of god....THE HOUSE OF GOD!" Anthony was a genius in building peaks and breaking them in his productions, this is a very physical insertion of effects and instruments as everything is extremely narrow, tight and mathematically correct. if you listen close you can see that by the last 30-40 seconds of the song, all the instruments used come together in a very accurate and harmonious way.Anyway, this record is like going to church.
