This is an excellent budget-priced compilation of odds-n-sods live & TV appearances. These mostly are NOT studio recordings, and unfortunately the liner notes give zero indication where any of these tracks have been culled from. Nevertheless, it's been expertly assembled, and the sound is amazing, not to mention the songs and most of the performances themselves. While a few may fall flat, and not be what one might expect, it still comes highly recommended, esp. at such a bargain price. (I paid only a penny for mine online!)

I have to agree that this CD is a bizarre but really interesting collection. When I first got it, I hated it thinking it was just someone overdubbing cheesy instrumental backing tracks to solo recordings of Marc's. As it turns out that's not what it is. Although I wouldn't choose any of these versions over the originals, after listening to them a few times I've come to really enjoy some of them. It's anyone's guess how, where and with whom these tracks were recorded. But for the collector who is already a big fan and has all the other records, this is a fascinating worthy addition.
