I bought this on a hunch. It arrived today and so I hurriedly rushed up to the studio and put it on the record deck. This record, like Braxe and Ellesse (P Y T), was I assume, made for a fashion show - the date here is the 28th Jan 2001, so I assume the show (for Dior) was on that date. Lonesome Boy is glorious - it has a nice bassline, drums that have a funny 'non-drum' every 8 bars or so, and Diamond's sad tones regarding how all he has is his loneliness. I can just imagine those depressed Dior models going up and down the catwalk to this. The other side (Inner Cycle) is a bit disconcerting, where the other was just sad, and I find it uneasy, however, it has nice strings. It is more 'fashion show'-ish than Lonesome Boy.
