The debut from Sweden's The Spacious Mind has to be one of the most awesome cosmic treks of the 1990's. It certainly lives up to the title "Cosmic Minds At Play" and some! Basically an album long suite, some have referenced the great Yatha Sidhra, which I get, yet I'd say think: the ooziest Ash Ra Tempel, fleshed-out with the most mind-bending psychotronic Hawkwind, given the greatest tension by looming crescendos that take ages to peak, and then wend on wave upon wave. A sizzling mind-trip that they never bettered since, despite doing many more superb albums in more recent years.
