Great Snap Shot of Madonna being RIGHT on the zeitgeist. Bjork, Marius De Vries, and Nellee Hooper penned track with remixes designed for Junior Vasquez's seminal Sound Factory Sets. These epic sets were the NY underground sound of the mid 90's and although unlike other US based peers junior didn't play in the UK his dark driving dubs did feature on our dance floors. The orbital mix here has really stood the test of time but its the Drum dub that provides the club credibility in this disc. Madonna surfed the wave to William Orbit and never looked back. You have to hand it to her that and over and over she has caught the vibe of the times and made great pop from it BUT she has always had one leg in the underground and has thus built a legacy of some great remixes like this
