With this mini CDr Northaunt provides the second part in a series of 12 various releases inspired by Alan Moore's graphic novel "Watchmen" and proves that not only is he a master craftsman when it comes to moody, misanthropic and eloquently haunting atmospheres but also is quite skilled in creating lenghty, drawn out sonic passages, stretching far beyond their own perception and interpretation as he manages to dissect and multiply those into new and ambiguous experiences and emotions. It's a shame that he didn't puruse this particular avenue further and never went on to construct a 30 or even 40min sound instalations, all the more reason to get a hold of this release, though it's quite diffucult to track it down.However, Infinite For Productions will include this in the up coming re-release of the "Barren Land" album (and on a proper CD mind you) so you'll be able to get both these brilliant productions.
