To mark his return, Die Krupps offers 'Too Much History' , a double best-of tracing their career. In the meantime of course a new album expected soon . The first CD , 'The Dance Years ' includes all electro classics of the band in the 80s (' Machineries of Joy ' with Douglas McCarthy of Nitzer Ebb , Für Einen Augenblick ', ' Der Amboss ') with its muscular and EBM his chant . The second CD , 'The Metal Years' offers to him about all the good and catchy hits péchus 90s and most metal group period (' Crossfire ', 'Metal Machine Music ', ' To the Hilt ') . During this period, the band's music has seen the guitars take more and more space as and when albums to reach an ultimate crossover on their latest album to date , 'Paradise Now' in 1997. For the occasion, every track on this compilation were re-recorded and we are given here as they are played in concert today . No big changes in their structures except a few small arrangements here and there. And as a compilation really is not without its unique , this is the song 'The Great Divide' that is entrusted this task. A title in the purest tradition Die Krupps , an electronic structure supported by a solid guitar riff in the style proposed by the group on the album ' II: The Final Option . An ideal compilation so to discover this cult group of German industrial music , inspiration for many of today's groups.
