I got this in a thrift store for a dollar, probably one of my favorite finds. Mood mix is very excellent, love the bassline.

I've no hope of buying the vinyl, but also, no digital copies anywhere online? Cooomeee on!

Wish that Herr Ricardo would turn out a banger like this one once in a while. He's been turning around in his sound labyrinth for much too long now.

"Detroit Heroes" from last year was pretty driving and tracky.

Somenone know how is sounding the re-edition compare to the original one ?

"Heike (Original)" is the closest Ricardo ever got to a techno anthem in that first 10 years period of his career when he still cared for the killer gimmick, in strong techno club trax ("Bosch") or deeper excursions ("808 The Bass Queen", "Nordhorn", "Easy Lee", "Dexter", "Que Belle Epoque"...). This one has everything : swirling drive, trippy silly obsessive 8-bit synth loop, girl voice sample coming in just at the right time...Since 2004, only "Fizheuer Ziheuer" and "Enfants (Chant)" continued that tradition, and they were 100% looped samples. One could regret that more simple, tracky, to-the-point aspect of Ricardo's productions, but I guess artists have the right to evolve ;) ...
