W.O.W. - Words Of Wisdom / Invocation flac mp3 download

WOW! Year of 1995. Germany. The first and the best release from the Acid Test label. An outstanding release! I bought this record just a week ago. The title track "Words Of Wisdom" is one of my favorite tracks from the early works of Kai Franz. This vinyl record is certainly not the cheapest one, but it is worth the money. A lot of people want to have it in their collections. Do not pass it by! Must have and highly recommended. My overall rating: 5/5

Meh...Don't get me wrong: this is a good release---I'll give it 4/5---but Kai put together far better tracks of hard acid trance, if you ask me. As just a few examples:Acut Genius - Formic AcidAcut Genius - EvolutionFormic Acid - Acid Dreams (from the Dreams of Fantasy release)Mac Acid - Radon (either mix, or Radium)Concerning this release, I think Invocation is actually a better track than Words of Wisdom. Both tracks are good, but the synths in Words are a bit cheesy, especially at the beginning. Granted, once it gets going, the track features a ton of glorious acid, so I do like it.Nevertheless, I just don't understand the astronomical prices for this record, even if it is rare. It's just OK.

Go spend your 300 euros on something else. I still haven't understood why this has a whopping 234 wants which is a crap lot for a hardtrance record. Side A is boring and sounds a little bit generic. It does have a "Bonzai" vibe to it but, Bonzai is also a massively overrated and overpraised label. Side B is good hard acid trance courtesy of Kai's good old acid sound. Still not even close in compensating the silly money this record sells for. There are many records that had a 300 copy print run or less that sell for about a third of the money this sells for. Imagine the tunes you could buy with 300 E.

Words of Wisdom, A wonderful masterpiece for people that like fast acid-trance at its best. I do not understand why Kai Tracid lost this style. Both tracks on this record are exremely good. The sound is a combination of bonzai records with noom records. So you can expect 2 tracks on this record that fit very good in a set with ´the first rebirth´ or ´are am eye´. The emotions saved on the vinyl are feelable and the crowd claims to the maximum. It is unbelievable that this record is not known by lots of people but may be this is what kicks the crowd to the unexpected. When i bought this record my friends told me that i am crazy spending so much money on one record. After playing the record the same people meant it is worth every sinlge €.
