EDIT: I own the repress.Really love the record, however, my B1 track has 3 distinct skips in it (beginning / middle / end), however they aren't vinyl skips, it's almost more like it was in the original track. When cued over the needle clearly isn't skipping, however you can hear the sharp edges where the noise floor in the audio drops out and comes back.Anyone else found this?

These noises are due to the way Hakim and Ike produced the track: live jam in one shot. Those clicks come from when they "disconnect/reconnect" the machines: as you will notice, it is always set on the beat. That is why there was no way to remove them. Plus we decided to keep this version of the track to keep the raw spirit of their work.Glad you like the music, thank you for your support. Cheers

Thanks for the info! I haven't blended the record yet so I wasn't positive that the clicks were on time, good to hear that they are.

I own the first pressing and wondered about those clicks myself. I asked the Latency guys and they told me:"These noises are due to the way Hakim and Ike produced the track: live jam in one shot. Those clicks come from when they "disconnect/reconnect" the machines: as you will notice, it is always set on the beat. That is why there was no way to remove them. great record

would you sell one for a reasonable price to someone who want's it for the music?
  • Marirne
So you actually bought 9 copies and none are for sale? That's really stupid, but my guess is that you're not being serious. I actually ended up with a 2nd copy after I complained to Juno that the sleeve on the one I ordered was torn (which it is) and they sent me another one. So I have one with a small tear in the sleeve I'd be willing to sell/trade if anyone wants. It's a record I wouldn't mind having a 2nd copy of, though.

I bought it, because I like it. No intention to sell ;)

scndordrObsrvtionglad I bought 9 of theseStupid. The artists don't earn anything from such a record and people like you buy nine of them to make cash.
  • Silvermaster
Look at the prices, that's sheer madness. I hope, nobody will buy these...

NICE.
