Anyone else get one with the back cover pasted on upside down?

This is not a 180 gram pressing! Same weight that 20|20|20's "On Fire" release.

Amazing release. This is what music is all about. Giving you the feeling that the sun is shining, and you are young, even when it's raining and you're aging rapidly. The Tugboat video is just gorgeous, with the film being scraped, and destressed for artistic effect. Thank you Dean, Damon, and Naomi for giving us the gift of your youth. It didn't go to waste.

Has anyone compared this reissue to an original? I hastily bought a European pressing because I thought this reissue was hard to find. Checked another shop and they had it for $20 less than what I paid.

There are many songs from 'Today' by Galaxie 500 that I could have chosen to write about, but “Don’t Let Our Youth Go To Waste,” is always the one my hand reaches for. Rarely are we lucky enough to find groups who both live in the minute, recognize that they are, and have the talent to write about it. While the song is certainly a cover, it's the delicate manner in which it's been covered that allows Galaxie 500 to own this peculiar little number penned by Jonathan Richman.I remember all to well being a poor starving college kid, with nothing but fresh eyes for the world ... smart enough to know better about alot of things, and just dumb enough not to care. My body was all that I owned, my skin glowed in the summer sun, my mussels were tight, and sex was an easy simple pleasure on fall afternoons. As I lay there so many years ago, wishing these moments would never end, and as simple as things were, hoping with all my heart that life would never get any better.Dean, Naomi, and Damon were able to capture those moments in dozens of their songs, but never more so then here. They were the starving college kids, but instead of bathing in the afterglow as I did, they wrote songs about their lives, their experiences, hopes, and the magnificence of being young ... yet recognizing that this moment wouldn’t last, and made the most of every second, finding a way of shaping these moments into verse, so that at least these feelings would exist as soundscapes, to warm their souls as time inevitably moved on.Galaxie 500 is skipped over by many music fans, and I have no idea why. They certainly paved the way for groups like Nirvana, and picked up on what The Velvet Underground, and Neil Young had done years before. There is an honesty to the emotion in all of their music that will never let you down. Their songs are beyond dreamy, with dueling guitars that harmonize, roll like thunder, and go from simple chord strumming to walls of fuzz and feedback. At 57, I still don’t want my youth to go to waste ... because I will never be younger then I am at this very moment.*** ‘Today’ was recorded during a steamy July in just three days, with most of Dean’s vocals sounding like they’d been beamed in from another planet. One of the reasons Dean’s slid guitar work sounds so original and fresh is because this was the very first time he had ever played slide. Dean said that his guitar seemed to play itself, and that to this day ‘Today’ stands as his favorite Galaxie 500 release. The whole affair was recorded for $750 which included a reel of one inch tape, and though most folks didn't know it, 'Today' marked the beginning of the end for Galaxie 500.
